Switch from RepCount

Norwegian headers, semicolons, comma decimals: read free.

Callus is a RepCount alternative that imports your RepCount CSV free, keeps logging quick, and adds twelve set types, dominance PRs (a set is a PR when no other counted set matches or beats it on weight and reps) and a no-account start. The app is in English only.

No cheap shots

A good free log, plainly.

Unlimited free routines.

RepCount's free plan has no cap on workouts, routines or custom exercises, and it asks for no account. If a plain, unlimited log is all you need, that is a real strength.

The same price.

Premium costs the same $4.99 a month or $29.99 a year as Callus Pro, and the listing carries a rating of about 4.9 from roughly 13,000 US ratings. It is well liked for a reason.

A simple, focused app.

It is mature and stays out of the way. This page is for the lifter who wants more structure on top of the same log, in English.

Import walkthrough

Bring the log. Re-score the work.

Bring the old sessions in, check what carried over, then let Callus recalculate your PRs. Some fields do not carry, so read the list.

  1. In RepCount, open the Statistics tab, scroll to the bottom and export the CSV. CSV export is a Premium feature there, and its menu can differ by app version; see Sources.
  2. In Callus, open Settings → Import Data and pick the file. Callus recognises the export by itself, in Norwegian headers (Treningens start, Øvelse) or English ones, read as semicolon-separated with comma decimals such as 62,5.
  3. Choose the unit the export was logged in, kg or lbs: the file has no unit column.
  4. What comes in: workout start (written 2025-12-29 16:45 or 28.02.2021 14:06), exercise, weight, reps, notes, the workout name, set duration for timed exercises, workout length from the end time, the category when it matches one of Callus's muscle groups, and the body weight column (Kroppsvekt or Bodyweight) as body-weight entries. All sets arrive as working sets. A missing weight or reps arrives as 0, so check those sets in Sessions.
  5. What does not come in: RPE, supersets, movement type, equipment, tags, calories and distance. Review each exercise's muscle group, movement type and equipment in Settings → Exercises.
  6. Callus skips sets already in the same session. When the imported data changes what PRs are based on, it recalculates PRs across your whole log; a file of only sets you already have changes nothing. Callus is English only today.

Questions

Before you import.

Is the import really free?

Yes. CSV import and export stay free in Callus, with no account needed.

Does it read a Norwegian export?

Yes. Callus recognises the Norwegian column headers (such as Treningens start and Øvelse) as well as the English ones, reads the semicolons and comma decimals, and accepts dates written 28.02.2021 14:06. The app itself is English only.

Does Callus upload my history?

Without an account your sets stay on your iPhone and Watch unless you export or share them yourself. Without an account Callus also sends anonymous, install-scoped launch, onboarding, workout-count, paywall and purchase events after you accept the privacy policy, crash reports unless you turn them off, and feedback you choose to send.

Callus is pre-launch

Join before you migrate.

Callus is in final App Store testing. The waitlist gets the first invites and the first importer fixes if a RepCount export format changes.
